When it comes to developing our habit of prayer, we need learn to surrender our wisdom. I’m not saying, “don’t use your mind or be discerning.” What I am saying is that in our life of prayer, we will need to surrender our wisdom in favor of the wisdom God reveals through Scripture and the Holy Spirit.
